Yom HaShoah
Never forget...

Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day

Yom HaShoah was established in Israel in 1953 and is known officially there as Yom Hazikaron Lashoah V’lagvurah (Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day). It’s a solemn day when many Jewish communities hold special ceremonies to honor the memory of those who perished in the Holocaust. In 2016, it fell on May 5.

Check back in February 2017 for more information on Yom HaShoah 2017.
