As part of our mission to ensure that future generations understand the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides—and that they impart them to their children—the JFCS Holocaust Center offers educational programs for parents, teachers, students, and others in the community who are interested in learning about this significant part of history. You will find our upcoming programs below. Unless noted otherwise, all programs are free.
Sunday, March 19
12:30pm – 5:00pm

The theme for this year’s Day of Learning is “Take A Stand: How will you change the world?”, focusing on change makers in history and those who have stood up for what they believe in.
Students (grades 7-12) and educators from all public and private schools throughout California are invited to gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust and patterns of genocide in order to inspire moral courage and social responsibility in the future. Registration will open February 13, 2017.
